A primary responsibility of the Orthopaedic Surgery Spine Fellowship is to work at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. This is a high-volume, comprehensive program treating various spinal disorders, including degenerative, traumatic, infectious, adult deformity and oncologic conditions.
The fellowships commence in February and August of each year for 12 or 24 months. Clinical Fellows must have completed Orthopaedic or Neurosurgical residency and are expected to perform at the junior consultant level.
